The shape of the day
A short morning of work — the kind that doesn't feel like work because it isn't urgent. By eleven the laptop is closed. By twelve the body is in the bay. Maybe today the longer walk: Lungo Mare, the 1.8 km path along the water toward Pekka cove.
What to do
- 01Two hours of writing on the balcony, the marina mirrored in the laptop screen.
- 02Walk to Pekka cove and back. A slower beach, fewer voices.
- 03Late swim. Long shadows.
