Written before the day was lived. Held lightly. Will be replaced as it happens.
The shape of the day
First full day with nowhere to go — but the morning belongs to the screen. Four quiet hours on the balcony with the marina just waking up; by ten the laptop closes and the day opens. The Promenade and Marina Beach are below; the cluster pool is up the steps. The body decides the order from there.
